SURGERY SERVICES

Faisal Khan, MD serves on the team of outpatient physicians at Sequoyah Memorial, providing outpatient care and surgery procedures to the local community!

Dr. Khan's long list of accolades include Resident House Staff in the Department of Surgery at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Research Associate at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Resident House Staff in the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Surgical Externship & Research Officer in Pediatric Surgery at Children Hospital in Islamabad, Pakistan, and serving in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, Pakistan. Dr. Khan has been actively involved in research of treatments of wounds including diabetic wounds and pressure ulcers. Dr. Khan earned a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Khan performs a number of surgical procedures at Sequoyah Memorial including colonscopies and gall bladder surgery.

Hal Robbins, DO, serves on the outpatient physician team at SMH. Dr. Robbins serves in the outpatient clinic performing a variety of procedures including colonoscopies. Dr. Robbins is a recent graduate of OSU Medical School. He is currently in General Surgery Residency and will complete this in June of 2012. Dr. Robbins is a Sallisaw native and also the son of Dr. Rick and Karen Robbins. Dr. Robbins was born in Sallisaw on February 12, 1980. He was delivered by his father and Dr. Jim Herndon. He grew up attending Immanuel Baptist Church and then in high school, attended Journey Church. Dr. Robbins is part of a great team of outpatient surgeons able to perform a vast scope of procedures.

Currently available at Sequoyah Memorial are colonoscopies, lumpectomies, mastectomies, EGDs, hemorrhoidectomies, laproscopic procedures, and many more! Dr. Robbins also joins a rapidly growing healthcare system. Sequoyah Memorial has an active staff of physicians, offers medical imaging, rehabilitative services, a sleep disorder center, hospice and homecare, and the sale of home medical equipment.
