SEQUOYAH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PRENATAL CARE

In March 2010, Sequoyah Memorial welcomed Jamison Alexander, DO, to the physician team! Dr. Alexander provides pre-natal and OB care once a week. Dr. Alexander sees patients at Sequoyah Memorial for care leading up to delivery; he provides delivery care at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau. Dr. Alexander is a great asset to Sequoyah Memorial! He hails from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas, where he completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Alexander earned his Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and attended Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery where he earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Alexander served as Co-President of the Resident Housestaff of Organization at Texas Tech, as a Graduate Medical Education Committee Member, and a Gynecologic Surgery Committee Member. Dr. Alexander has also attended numerous conferences and educational workshops such as The Society of Gynecologic Surgeons Postgraduate course, the Advanced Pelvic Floor Surgery Conference, and the Office of Rural Community Affairs Healthfind Annual Meeting.

Dr. Alexander’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and watersports.
