NEW SURGEON TO JOIN TEAM AT SEQUOYAH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Sequoyah Memorial is excited and proud to announce its newest addition to the team of physicians- Faisal Hamad Khan, MD.  Dr. Khan will be joining the team of outpatient physicians at Sequoyah Memorial, providing outpatient care and surgery procedures to the local community! 

Dr. Khan’s long list of accolades include Resident House Staff in the Department of Surgery at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Research Associate at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Resident House Staff in the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Surgical Externship & Research Officer in Pediatric Surgery at Children Hospital in Islamabad, Pakistan, and serving in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, Pakistan.  Dr. Khan has been actively involved in research of treatments of wounds including diabetic wounds and pressure ulcers.  Dr. Khan earned a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.  Dr. Khan will have the ability to perform a number of surgical procedures at Sequoyah Memorial.
