Annual Men’s Health Fair

Each year, Sequoyah Memorial Hospital teams up with Redbird Smith Health Center of the Cherokee Nation to host a free Men’s Health Fair.  Sequoyah Memorial is dedicated to increasing health awareness among all residents of Sequoyah County.  Participants receive free cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI, and PSA tests along with an overall physical exam!  The entire examination is absolutely free and the screenings are proven to be very effective!  So far three to four men with heightened levels of PSA have been treated- three more lives saved!  Free T-shirts are given away, and a luncheon, including a guest speaker, is always free to the first 60 men who register.  The event is always very well-attended, and Sequoyah Memorial is proud to offer such a great service to our community!
