Annual Hospice Run
Each year, the Hospice Run is organized to raise money for patients with
terminal illness. Contrary to popular belief, Hospice not only services
the elderly, but also infants, teens, and the middle-aged. The money
raised from the Hospice Run is used to help our patients pay for medications,
medical equipment, medical bills, and numerous other necessities. Runners
and walkers from across Oklahoma and other states as well participate in
the Hospice Run, which is a sanctioned run.
One of the exciting things about the SMH Hospice Run is that following
the race, a drawing is held for door prizes! Any individual who entered
the race is eligible to receive a door prize. Prizes, music, and
good times are always a staple at the Annual Hospice Run!
