Sequoyah Memorial is heavily involved in the Sallisaw/Vian/Sequoyah County area, partiicpating in a number of civic organizations and activities.
Sequoyah Memorial Hospital believes that every patient is valuable and important. Quality healthcare is the top priority of the staff at SMH, but the patient’s overall experience is important as well. Some of the littlest patients at Sequoyah Memorial leave with a little more than what they came in with, thanks to the Kiddie Komforts program. Kiddie Komforts is a program designed to comfort and soothe any pediatric patient seen at the hospital. Many children visit the Emergency Room each week and the stuffed animals provided through Kiddie Komforts are invaluable to their experience. Whether it is a companion while waiting on mom or dad or a friend during a traumatic accident or illness, the stuffed animals donated to Kiddie Komforts by the community help children at SMH every single day. Many times the child is scared and uncertain, and the small act of providing a stuffed animal goes a long way.

receiving Hospice care usually have six months or less to live. The
money raised from the Hospice Run is used to help our patients pay for
medications, medical equipment, medical bills, and numerous other necessities. [More...]

lost- loved ones who used to be part of our holiday celebrations. [More...]
